Nasihah from a Tablighi brother

Assalamu’alaykum warahmatullah,

Alhamdulillah, last night when we, Malaysian brothers, gathered for our weekly gathering, we were visited by two friendly Tablighi brothers. After finishing our tilawah, one of the brothers gave very beautiful reminders for all of us.

He started by reminding us of how everything in this world is ephemeral and how Allah controls everything without being heedless not for even a second. He reminded us of the ni’mah that were given to us and that our ears, eyes, limbs and everything that we thought is our’s are actually Allah’s. And so, it is important for us to take good care of these ni’mah and use them wisely for the sake of Allah only.

He also reminded us of the foul environment that we’re living in and that we should make an effort to create a good, healthy and Islamic environment for ourselves to save us from being dragged and strayed by this ephemeral tempting world. Not to forget that we were also reminded of the love of Allah towards His creations; how He would continuously provide us with provisions even when majority of the people in this world are committing shirk to Him,a grievous sin that He will never forgive! The tablighi brother ended his reminders by encouraging us to strive in the path of Allah and try as much as possible to love Allah by doing what He commanded and restrain self from committing things He prohibited.

Alhamdulillah the brother gave us an hour jam-packed reminders that I think are very beneficial for all muslims. Despite many negative impressions about their manhaj, I think they are very nice people and I think that they have very much fear and love of Allah and His messenger Muhammad SAW. Not saying that I’m in total agreement with their manhaj but what I’m saying is that they have good things that all of us should implement in our daily lives. Like remembering Allah often, do zikr a lot, visit fellow muslims and give good advice etc. So let’s take whatever is good and apply them in our daily lives. May Allah forgive them and guide them. May Allah forgive us and guide us. May Allah grant us strength and may Allah help us to strive purely for His sake. May Allah grant us all Jannaatul Firdaus. Ameen.

Wassalamu’alaykum.
